Jamie Colby

Colby is a National News Correspondent, and anchor for Fox News. He has joined the organization since July 2003. Colby worked as an anchor and reporter at CBS News, including as a fill-in for CBS Up to the Minute. In the past, she was as a CNN reporter. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is a lawyer licensed to legally practice across New York, California, Florida and Florida and the District of Columbia. In 2002, she received the Edward R.Murrow National Award for reporting on the terrorist attacks of 9/11. In addition, she was awarded the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000 as well as her Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News Actor to Follow". Colby worked as an attorney who, along with her professional career as a journalist for 10 years at a private practice. Her legal practice started with an Hollywood entertainment firm that assigned Colby as a reporter for The Tonight Show. In her early 20s, she was working on behalf of Johnny Carson during his contract renewal with NBC as well as during his divorce.
