Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a prosperous family. She was the youngest of three. In a convent she developed a love for the arts. After a few years her return to the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin. In the end, due to a lack of determination, she decided that she required an absence and planned to give it ten months. While she was with her friends at a cafe, she was approached by a photographer who inquired if she was interested in modeling. Since she believed she could earn some money through this, she jumped at the chance. Within a short time, she was employed professional as models. Modeling contract work led to commercials and she was able to travel the globe. A casting director noticed her modeling talent and encouraged her to try acting. The director sent her to London when she was 19 which was where she won an audition to be part of the upcoming James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). Her love for acting was such that she decided to pursue a career in this direction. She was a part of TV dramas, both in London and Dublin in the wake of her debut movie. But her biggest break came when she got a role in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as the Aryan seductress and Dr. Elsa Schneider. Alison Alison Alison
